Do you know you can clear a blocked stuffy nose naturally?
I have been looking for a better way for getting my nose and sinus cleared, and at the same time, cheaper and more environmentally friendly than those chemical sprays not to mention blowing my nose until it bleeds. I wanted to clear the blocked stuffy nose, and reach a sinus relief, and free myself from sinus pain. I wanted to cure my sinusitis, allergy, and nasal congestion. I have been reading about irrigation to cure sinus problems and stuffy nose, but could not find the right tool.

Then, two days ago a terrible blocked and stuffy nose prevented me from sleeping. It was after midnight and I could not sleep while I was out of breath. I used to clear the stuffy nose by with the usual spray or drops, but I ran out of that usual small chemical spray bottle. As you know there are all sorts of brands and prices at the chemist.

I was out of breath and panicky breathing with difficulty from my mouth. I searched on the Web for 'blocked stuffy nose', and voila! Found plenty of links on this problem and at last I belonged to the Group of Blocked Stuffy Nose Sufferers.

There were all sorts of ways to clear a blocked stuffy nose, but they all used water and salt as the main ingredient, which is medically known as saline.

The principle is to get salty water in the nostril and the deeper it gets the better. Some used a tea pot to pour the salty water in one nostril and get it out of the other nostril. Some inhaled the salty water from their hand. Not wanting to use the tea pot I applied different method.

I diluted half tea spoon of non-iodised salt in a cup of lukewarm water, and socked a thinly folded kitchen paper towel in the salty water. Then I inserted the salty roll in one nostril rotating it as I was pushing, and repeated with another roll of salty water in the other nostril. Then, I gently blew my nose and the blockage was clear.

I wanted to find better solution for this and get certified for Sinus Survival, using saline and nasal washing; I would say, like salty nose bidet. Then, after searching the Web I found this amazing tool, which is designed by a specialist doctor. A small plastic bottle with specially designed top has been my daily nose and sinus clearing tool for around a month. No more blowing with a tissue and getting my nose bleeding. The bottle comes with specially prepared salty powder sachets. I used some, and now I use pure table salt. Mix in the bottle half or three quarters tea spoon of salt with lukewarm water. Seal, shake, and blow into one nostril. The water goes out of the other nostril carrying all the stuff that had been unnecessarily loitering inside the nostrils and sinus. After a couple of blows it is all clean and cleared.

The bottle comes with instructions and I use it in the morning and evening when I brush my teeth, and at any other time when I feel that I had some pollutants entered my nose.
